Jennifer Strachan

Jennifer has worked in wealth management, finance and investments for over 25 years, and now combines working part-time as CEO and business advisor for Startup Guernsey with Non-executive work.

Prior to Startup Guernsey, Jennifer worked in a range of roles for Polygon Group and Heritage Group managing an angel investment portfolio, MD of Heritage Corporate Services (corporate trust division), Group Treasurer, and manager of the Heritage Asset Management Programme.

After a degree in Engineering and an MBA in Finance, she worked in investment banking, structuring and marketing derivative-linked products for private banks. In 1998, she moved to Guernsey, joining Rothschild Trust Guernsey where she set up and directed their Investment Services Group for international trust clients.

She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Barclays Insurance Guernsey PCC Ltd, Member of the Office of the Data Protection Authority and on the IoD Guernsey branch Committee.
